Jeanette Miller

Jeanette is our Outreach & Care Coordinator and Missions Advocate

Southern California was Jeanette's home until her college years at Valparaiso University in Indiana, where she graduated in 1990 with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a B.A. in Music. After graduation, she moved back to California where she taught 2nd grade for three years and then worked as teacher/administrator at a large Christian preschool. It was during that time that she met and married her husband Scott who plays guitar and makes delicious coffee drinks.

In 2002 they moved to Batavia, Illinois so Scott could work with his dad and brother at his family's futures trading company.
Jeanette enjoys teaching piano lessons and spending time with her family. She wants her life to glorify Christ and loves being involved with Valleybrook's Women's, Children's, Missions, Outreach & Care, and Worship Ministries.

Jeanette and Scott have three lovely daughters - Annika, Talley, and Sarah, who married Jonah Scott in June 2018.

You will often find the family creating and serving up great coffee, tea and cold drinks at MOKA, their coffee shop in North Aurora.
