We at Valleybrook desire to partner with parents in helping kids find and follow Jesus and to grow in a personal relationship with God. We offer an exciting environment where God's word comes alive! Join us for our Children's Ministry experiences.

Our Mission Statement

The Children's Ministry of Valleybrook Community Church exists to glorify God by helping children find and follow Him.


Our Purpose

Children's Ministry serves as an effective vehicle to strengthen the church as it glorifies God through sharing the gospel, supporting parents and strengthening the saints.


Our Practice

EVANGELIZE - The Great Commission calls us to share the good news of Christ with everyone (Matthew 28:18-20)


PREPARE THE HEART - Pray for the child. Introduce the child to the gospel of Jesus Christ and to key Bible stories. Take a more detailed look at how each Bible story connects to the gospel. Review now familiar Bible stories to gain deeper understanding of their redemption in Christ as they begin to study Scripture for themselves.


ENCOURAGE - The Church is called to encourage believers (Ephesians 4:12-16). Bible studies; Resources (articles, statistics and books); Personal Shepherding.


EQUIP - The Church has a mandate to equip Christians for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:11-16) which includes children, parents and leaders.

CHILD CHECK IN/OUT PROCEDURES

Nursery (Birth - PreK) and VB Kids (K - 6th Grade)


•  Information is collected for parents and all children

•  An ID bracelet is given to parents and a nametag with the corresponding number is placed on each child

•  Nursery age children are taken to the Nursery

•  VB Kids worship with their parents and are dismissed before the Sermon, being led to their classroom

  • Nursery

    You can drop off your children who will be lovingly cared for during the Worship Service.

  • Preschool

    (3 - Pre-K)

    Preschoolers can be dropped off and will be cared for during the Worship Service.

  • Children's Church

    (Kindergarten - 6th Grade)

    Children will worship with their family and then be dismissed and escorted to their classroom prior to the sermon.

  • Community Kids

    Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 pm Community Kids, a special experience where kids Kindergarten-6th grade gather together in community to worship, expand upon Sunday's Bible Lesson with additional activities, Bible verse memorization and so much more!
