Worship Ministries

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. Romans 12:1 NIV  These words of the apostle Paul provide the basis for our belief that worship is much more than an hour on Sunday morning - it is a life of grateful obedience and submission to God, lived out to His glory. In that sense, most of our growth as worshippers occurs not necessarily on Sunday morning, but in the moment-to-moment of daily life.

That being said though, God does meet us in unique ways in corporate worship and we truly LOVE those times together as a church! We seek to make those times a catalyst to daily growth by packing them full of songs rich in meaning, with scripture, with prayer, and with images that will echo through the minds and hearts of the worshipper throughout the moments of their week. Musically speaking, our worship is a unique, heart-felt mix of current worship songs and historic hymns; our style is "contemporary while not neglecting our heritage in historic hymns and including moments of variety." How's that for leaving the options open? We strive to provide an experience of corporate worship that is intergenerational: the young and the "young at heart" worshipping together in unity.

ADULT WORSHIP TEAM - We have an extremely talented group of adult and teen vocalists, musicians and songwriters serving Valleybrook with their many gifts. Would you like to join us? Explore the possibilities with Scott or Jeanette Miller.

YOUTH WORSHIP TEAM - Our youth join us monthly, for the holidays and for special events to bless us with their joyfulness. If your child would like to participate, please contact Anne Geroulis.

VISUAL ARTS - Are you an artist, photographer, videographer, or graphic artist? We would love to see you bless our congregation with your talents. Contact Debby Toth.

TECHNICAL WORSHIP MINISTRIES - It takes a team to create the weekly Worship Service and Special Event experiences. Perhaps you can't sing or play an instrument, but we need the behind-the-scenes gifts as well - you may be able to help set up or tear down, run a sound board or the computer!
